Sewingtime (NZ) Ltd is the largest supplier of machinery and equipment to the Needle Trade of New Zealand, offering a vast selection of top quality products and services. Sewingtime has proudly been in business for over 30 years – for the last 12 years, Peter Meyrick has been the sole owner.
The company was originally taken over in 1980 by Dave Smith, and operated from offices in Grey Lynn. In 1981, Peter Meyrick joined Dave as a half owner, and the company enjoyed a long period of steady growth. In 1991, Richard Jarman replaced Dave as partner and it was another five years before Peter Meyrick took over complete ownership in 1996. Over the years, with the loyalty and experience of long-standing staff members, Sewingtime has built up a respected name in the industry and has enjoyed strong relationships with suppliers and customers alike.
