The Juki LU-2810 is our machine of recommendation for Upholstery, making or repairing sails and heavy canvas work. This machine is a work horse that can easily punch through materials 5-6mm thick. The 2810 also has a raised arm to increase its sewing area which allows for an ease of access to maneuver what ever material you wish to sew on it.
Using the common Japanese/Singer foot system - all the standard walking feet will fit directly on the SS type machine
The LU2810SS series is a unison feed lockstitch machine with a vertical axis large hook and a large drop in bobbin which in turn allows for a greater thread capacity.
For needle position (up/down) option we can add a Ho Hsing i90 heavy duty servo motor (extra $1300) call us for this option.
