Get your domestic sewing machine (any brand) serviced by Sewingtime NZ at either of our Auckland or Christchurch locations. Bring your machine in for a free assessment to determine whether it simply needs a bit of TLC or if there’s a more serious issue.

Our Domestic Sewing Machine Service includes:
•     Full clean
•     Threading check
•     Needle change
•     Oil and grease where necessary
•     Polishing of the sewing hook or loopers
•     Timing check and adjustment
•     Tension balancing
•     Stitch pattern testing

All of this is available for just $126.50 (parts and needles not included). If any additional repairs are required, we’ll let you know before proceeding.

For Industrial Sewing Machine servicing or repairs, Embroidery Machine servicing, steam equipment, fabric cutters, and more, you’re welcome to bring your equipment to one of our branches. Alternatively, you can book one of our technicians to come to you by contacting us via email or phone.

  • Hourly Rate / Minimum Service Charge:
    $110.00 + GST ($126.50 including GST)

    Please note:

    • Travel time is chargeable to the customer.
    • Specialized equipment may incur higher rates—please contact us for details.

  • Warranty claims are assessed by our technicians. If a repair is not covered under warranty, the minimum service charge will still apply to cover diagnostic time.
  • Any parts required to complete a service job are charged in addition to labour and travel costs.
  • Our technicians, acting on behalf of the company, reserve the right to refuse service at their discretion.
  • By requesting a service, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined on this page. All prices listed on this website include GST unless otherwise stated.
  • All prices quoted on this website are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated.
