PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The KAI 7280 - 11" Professional Series Shear is ideal for thicker, more difficult fabrics. The 7000 Professional Series, including the 7280, are made of a high carbon, hardened stainless steel. The addition of carbon allows for a steeper cutting angle, giving the scissor a sharper, finer edge. The carbon allows the finer edge to last longer. This gives the 7000 series a better ability to cut thicker fabrics and allow for easier use.

I am shocked at how beautifully these scissors cut through fabric, canvass and leather. Furthermore, the shape makes it easy for me to cut straight and to get my three fingers (I am a man with big hands) in the handle (my index finger wraps around the indent).
I had a local decorator (who has her own workroom) try them. She said they were sharper than the Wiss, which they have used for years.
Customer service was excellent.

I love these shears! use it for shortening wedding dresses. 11 inch blade is perfect for it.
The only complain is the handle, where you place your hand in, it a bit too roomy and i struggle getting a good grip for a comfortable cut.
Still love the product

Cutting is such a pleasure with these scissors. Fabrics are easily and smoothly cut all along the blade. It is comfortable in the hand and well balanced. This kind of quality begs me to buy more.

I wasn?t sure if I should order the Kai 7280: 11-inch Professional Shears, but I am not sorry. I have arthritis in my hands and have had several surgeries. I wasn?t sure if the length and weight would be a good fit. However it is just the opposite. I find them easy to handle. They are balanced and sharp. Very easy to hold. I have the 9 inch shears also, these are much better for me.

These are the only shears that get in my tool belt for sailmaking and industrial textile fabrication. They're lightweight and stay sharp for crisp reliable cuts day after day.
